Getting to Alicante

To reach Alicante by plane on the weekend of July 19, 2025, several direct flights are available from major European cities.

From Geneva, you can take a direct flight of around 2 hours with companies such as easyJet or Swiss.

From Paris, direct flights are offered from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports with Air France or Vueling, for a flight time of around 2h15.

From London, several direct flight options are also possible, including with British Airways, Ryanair or easyJet, with a journey time of around 2h30.

Alicante airport is located about twenty minutes from the city center.

The drive from Madrid to Alicante takes around 4 hours on well-maintained roads. You will mainly travel along the A-31 motorway, which runs through the Castilla-La Mancha region before arriving at the Mediterranean coast. It is a direct route, with several rest areas and petrol stations along the way, offering a flexible option for those who prefer to travel at their own pace.

If you're departing from cities like Paris or Lyon, you can reach Alicante in around 12 to 14 hours, depending on your starting point and traffic conditions. You'll cross the French-Spanish border near Perpignan, then follow the AP-7 motorway, which runs along the Mediterranean coast. This route will take you through cities like Barcelona and Valencia, with plenty of places to stop for a break. It's a great option to enjoy the coastal scenery along the way.

To reach Alicante by train, there are several comfortable options from Madrid or France. From Madrid, you can take a high-speed AVE train, which connects the two cities directly in about 2h30. These trains are frequent and offer an excellent option for a quick and pleasant journey.

From France, you can leave from cities like Paris or Lyon, first taking a TGV to Barcelona. Then, just take a regional train or an AVE to Alicante, with a total journey time of about 9 to 10 hours. This option allows you to enjoy the Spanish landscapes throughout the journey.

For those who would like to come to Alicante by bus, set off on an unforgettable adventure! Board a direct FlixBus or ALSA bus available from many French cities. The journey, which lasts approximately 15 to 20 hours, will take you through the magnificent landscapes of southern France and Spain. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the main bus station in Alicante, located close to the city centre. Remember to book your tickets in advance to take advantage of the best prices and prepare yourself for a unique experience by joining our celebration in the sun!

Alicante is a very popular holiday destination for tourists from all over Europe and there are many accommodation options available. We recommend that you stay in the centre of Alicante if you are coming only for the wedding. This location will allow you to access the various wedding events by public transport.

For those of you who would stay longer to spend a few days of vacation, we advise you to find accommodation in San Juan or Campello (15-20 minutes from the centre of Alicante with tram lines 1 and 3). In this case, you will be able to enjoy the beach and have easier access to bigger apartments to share with several people. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need advice or are undecided about the ideal area in which to stay.

Alicante is a charming coastal city with many attractions easily accessible on foot or by public transport.
